Moved to WordPress

Astute observers may note that the site has changed a little… well quite a lot really. All the articles and notes have been moved over to the Wordpress blogging software and the site slightly redesigned to accomodate that. Much of the site is based on the Kubrick set of templates.

For the Wordpress software, I originally started with the “Mingus” 1.2.1 version, but after looking at the new 1.3 version (currently only available through CVS) I realised that there were some features I absolutely needed, such as static pages and the modular template/theme section. So here it is, alpha software at its finest.

In fact, I came across no glaring bugs or problems. The admin side sometimes seems to have a mind of its own but no data is lost so that’s fine. It seems stable enough, but I wouldn’t recommend it for production use, it’s still in a state of flux and change, so what works today may break tomorrow!

BTW: I visited your blog earlier today and I just wanted to congratulate you on a well presented, and informative resource.

It’s not often that I come across a web site that offers a wealth of quality. ;-)
