2003-06-22T20:57:29Z

I need to validate and parse the whole test.xml file which is given as input and i
need the output as

Country = US;
A1     = New York
A3     = New York
A6     = Broadway
HNO     = 123
LOC     = Suite 75
PC     = 10027-0401

on the Screen /or log in to the text file.
In the Above requirement A1 Specifies national, A3 Specifies City, A6 Speicifies Street,
HNO Specifies House Number, LOC specifies Additional location Information, PC Specifies
Postal code.
Am using xerces 2.8 version and i need the code in c++(should include .cpp & .hpp and handlers files also) and am using SAX2.

Hi Andrea
Your questions about including the Xerces files unfortunately sound like they relate to a Microsoft setup, which I'm not familiar with, you'll have to ask somewhere else for that.

The source files for the article seem to have disappeared when I moved the articles over to Wordpress. I'll see if I can find them... and put a link here if I do. Check back later.
:-)

thanks a lot! yep sorry..you're right..I'm working with C++..that's why is so hard to find some good docs..but most of all some tutorial..
Being concrete..does the listing 4 works by it self? how should I include the xerces includes?
is it correct to put the "xercesc" folder in the Project one? I mean.. "\Project\xercesc"
and the xerces folder contains all modules folders with header files.. (.hpp)
should I include that folder or the project does it by itself?
is this path #include correct? or I Should add xercesc? >> #include like this..?!
thanks anyway...this article is very useful anyway
bye

I'm not sure where you would start.. probably with google!
You don't say what language you are working in, but most languages have some sort of toolkits, you would need to find an RSS toolkit (which would handle the details of XML for you). I'm not aware of anything in C++ but there is probably something out there.

As for the toolkit... well, for multiplatform wxWidgets is probably a good bet. Or Qt from trolltech.
